Daniel Ochoa

Daniel Ochoa received his musical training from teachers such as Kammersänger Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau, Thomas Quasthoff, and Michael Rhodes. Concerts saw him perform across Europe and even in Japan. His musical partners have included the NDR Radiophilharmonie, the Lautten Compagney, the Telemann Chamber Orchestra Tokyo, and the Dresdner Kreuzchor. In 2003, Ochoa was awarded a first prize at the Albert-Lortzing-Wettbewerb, and he held a scholarship from the Richard-Wagner-Stipendienstiftung in 2004. Since 2012, the baritone has been a member of the ensemble at the Wiener Volksoper.
