Christine Wolff
Soprano Christine Wolff studied with Sigrid Kehl and Venceslava Hruba-Freiberger. As a member of the ensembles at the Chemnitz and Dessau operas, she has performed in many different lyrical soprano roles at the Oper Leipzig, the Staatstheater am Gärtnerplatz in Munich and the Opernhaus Halle. Great command of various styles as well as technical perfection give Wolff the possibility to perform Early Music works with ensembles such as Musica Antiqua Köln, the Clemencic Consort and the Concertgebouorkest Amsterdam but also to be active in the classical field and perform works such as Britten’s War Requiem and the Carmina Burana. Under the batons of such renowned personalities as Kurt Masur, Michail Jurowski, Salvador Mas, Marc Tardue, Peter Schreier und Hermann Max she has been accompanied by famous orchestras such as the Barcelona Symphony Orchestra, the Orquestra Nacional do Porto and the Gewandhausorchester. She has performed throughout Europe and has taken part in international festivals such as the Festival für Alte Musik Utrecht, the Internationale Barocktage Stift Melk and and the Innsbrucker Festwochen.
