Jörg Strodthoff
Between 1980 and 1985 Jörg Strodthoff studied a vast range of subjects at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater Hannover. He studied organ with Ulrich Bremsteller, Günther Ramin’s last student, and piano with MartinDörrie. Since 1977 he has been organist and choir director at different churches throughout Hanover. He taught at the HMT Hannover between 1984 and 1988 and also taught at the Universität Göttingen between 1987 and 1988. He was appointed to the important post of church musician at the Auenkirche in Berlin- Wilmersdorf in 1988, taking on the duties as organist and director of the church choir. In addition, he is well-known as performing organist and cembalist, as well as being a highly sought after accompanist for song recitals and chamber music concerts.
