Florian Lohmann
Florian Lohmann began his musical training in the Knabenchor Hannover. He studied school music, German studies, voice and voice pedagogy, and was a scholarship recipient of the Evangelische Studienstiftung Villigst. He received his choir conductor training most notably from Frank Löhr and Jörg Straube. Further motivation resulted in numerous master classes with, among others, Paul van Nevel and Frieder Bernius. Lohmann is engaged as Artistic Director for the Gifhorner Kammerchor, the Capella St Crucis and the Collegium Vocale Hannover. In addition to his duties as conductor, he is active as tenor soloist in professional ensembles. As contract instructor, he teaches the subjects voice at the Hochschule für Musik, Theater und Medien Hannover, and choir conducting at the Hochschule für Musik Detmold.
