Lea Rahel Bader
A cellist and gambist, Lea Rahel Bader frequently performs as a soloist as well as a member of early music ensembles at home and abroad. Her concert schedule has taken her to festivals such as Zeitfenster Berlin, the Göttingen Handel Festival, the Styriarte in Graz and the York Early Music Festival. A winner of several competitions, in 2012 she was awarded a special prize in the course of the 18th International Bach Competition in Leipzig. Lea Rahel Bader studied modern violoncello at the Hochschule für Musik „Hanns Eisler“ Berlin before continuing her studies on the baroque violoncello and viola da gamba at the Frankfurt University of Music and Performing Arts. She attended master classes with Claudio Bohórquez, Peter Bruns, Phoebe Carrai and Markus Möllenbeck.
