Bettina Ranch
Bettina Ranch from Berlin first studied violin before changing to vocal performance. As an opera singer she has taken part in productions of works by, among others, Mozart, Handel and Wagner at the three Berlin opera houses, the Hamburg State Opera, the Essen Aalto Theater, the Grand Théâtre de la Ville de Luxembourg and the Amsterdam Nederlandse Opera. As a concert singer, she has collaborated with orchestras such as the Hamburg Philharmonic, the Stuttgart International Bachakademie, the Potsdam Kammerakademie, the Dresden Philharmonic, the Bremer Philharmoniker, the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra, the Radio Symphony Orchestra in Madrid, the DSO Berlin, the RIAS Kammerchor, and the Salzburg Mozarteum Orchestra. She sang under the direction of Hartmut Haenchen, Markus Poschner, Simone Young, Helmuth Rilling, Rinaldo Alessandrini, Paul Goodwin and Ivor Bolton, among others.
