Sua Baek
Sua Baek was born in South Korea. She was six years old when she received her first piano lessons and learned to play the organ. She sang in a children’s choir and attended the Seoul Arts High School, studying singing. In 2008 she took up vocal studies with Gabriele Schnaut and Michaela Kaune at the Universität der Künste Berlin.
She is currently studying vocal accompaniment with Alexander Vitlin at the Hochschule für Musik “Hanns Eisler” Berlin.
At the Berlin Staatsoper and the Deutsche Oper Berlin, she serves as an accompanist and as a musical director. Sua Baek has been the permanent accompanist of the choir Camerata Vocale Berlin in 2013 and makes regular appearances at the Berlin Philharmonic.
