Martin Lattke
The tenor Martin Lattke is a co-founder of the Leipzig-based vocal quintet Calmus and was a member of ensemble amarcord from 2006 to 2013.
He is the first-prize winner of several international competitions and, together with amarcord, winner of the Echo Klassik 2010 for the CD Rastlose Liebe and winner of the Echo Klassik 2012 for the CD Das Lieben bringt groß Freud!, which features German folk songs.
Highlights of his activities as a singer are the recording in 2010 of Johann Sebastian Bach’s Christmas Oratorio for Decca with the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra under the direction of Riccardo Chailly, the 2012 recording of the St. Matthew Passion with the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra, and the 2013 recording of the Mass in B minor with the Freiburger Barockorchester under the direction of Georg Christoph Biller on DVD and Blu-Ray.
