Naaman Wagner
The Israeli pianist Naaman Wagner was born in 1984. He has appeared in concerts as a solo pianist and with numerous chamber music ensembles across Europe and Israel since 1998.
Wagner attended masterclasses at the Goslar Festival in Germany (2006 and 2007); in the Italian city of Perugia, where he performed alongside the Perugia Symphony Orchestra in 2007; and in Tel Hai (Israel) in 2008, where he studied with Dimitri Bashkirov. In 2006, he completed his Bachelor’s degree in conducting with Prof. Evgeny Zirlin at the Jerusalem Music Academy; and in 2008, he completed his piano studies with Prof. Eitan Globerson.
Naaman Wagner received annual scholarships for composition and piano from the Israel American Culture Foundation between 2001 and 2008. Today, he lives in Berlin and is a member of the Calaf Trio. He also regularly performs in Israel as a soloist and chamber musician, for example with the Israel Contemporary Players under the baton of Zsolt Nagy.
