Heidemarie Röttig
The soprano Heidemarie Röttig studied singing at the Universityof Music in Munich with Professor Margot Gerdes. Aftergraduating, she was active at the university’s opera programas a visiting graduate student. Already during her studies sheparticipated in the Biennale in Munich and to the city’s premiereof the opera Die wundersame Schustersfrau. During theMozart Year, she sang in the operas Apollo und Hyacinthusand Il sogno di Scipione at the Bavarian State Opera inMunich.
Her widespread concert activity has taken her to most partsof Germany and to many countries in Europe. She attendedthe opening gala of the ZDF-Sunday concert, the internationalEuropamusicalemusic festival, the opening concert of theChamber Music Festival Herrenchiemsee and the German-Czech Cultural Days. Alongside her concert activity she taughtat the Ludwig-Maximilian-University in Munich and was alecturer at the University of Regensburg for several years.
