Gutenberg-Kammerchor
The Gutenberg Chamber Choir was founded in 2013 as an elite choir of the Choir Academy at the Johannes Gutenberg University of Mainz. The choir, which takes part in musical projects, has a flexible lineup that is based on the respective musical and stylistic requirements. Under the artistic direction of Felix Koch, the Gutenberg Chamber Choir was soon able to make a name for itself in the field of historical performance practice in the region and beyond. Concert invitations led the choir not only to numerous concerts in German-speaking countries but also to France and South Africa as well. The Gutenberg Chamber Choir regularly collaborates with renowned soloists and conductors such as Andreas Scholl, Klaus Mertens, Konrad Junghänel and Masaaki Suzuki.
