Neumeyer Consort
The Neumeyer Consort was founded in 2007 with the aim of rendering the liveliness and versatility of baroque music in various instrumental combinations. The ensemble was able to make a name for itself within a short period of time. In addition to radio, television and CD productions, it received invitations to give concerts at numerous festivals and venues, including the Schwetzinger Festspiele of SWR, the Rheingau Music Festival, the Alte Oper Frankfurt, as well as concerts in South Africa (Kapstadt, Stellenbosch) and the Norfolk Concerts in Great Britain. The Neumeyer Consort regularly works with renowned guest conductors and soloists of the early music scene such as Wolfgang Katschner, Andreas Scholl, Klaus Mertens, Konrad Junghänel, Ton Koopmann and Masaaki Suzuki. Also, there is close cooperation with the Mainz School of Music: The Neumeyer Consort Scholarship Academy offers young, highly talented students the opportunity to gain musical experience at a professional level.
