Daniel Pacitti
Born in Argentina, Daniel Pacitti attends the music school in Santa Fe studying piano and clarinet at the National Conservatory of Music in Buenos Aires. He becomes a member of the Conservatoire Maurice Ravel in Paris studying choir and orchestra conducting at the Centre d‘ Art Poliphonique de Paris. From 1991 to 1995 he is artistic and musical director of the Moldova State Philharmonic Orchestra, of the Chamber Orchestra of Lombardy and of the Symphony Orchestra Guido Cantelli in Milan, as well as artistic director of the Opera Theatre Giuseppe Verdi in Trieste.
Besides the Luther Oratorio Pacitti composed among others: Il Cantico delle Creature, based on a text by Franziskus von Assisi, for tenor, choir and orchestra, Concierto criollo, Creole concert for violin and orchestra and Göttlich Stand und weltlich Ding, based on a text by Christian Meißner, for soprano, baritone, choir and orchestra.
