Nikolaus Fluck
Nikolaus Fluck was born in Frankfurt and was a member of the Limburg Cathedral Boys’ Choir. He studied school music, trumpet and later singing with Carmen Mammoser, Bernhard Jaeger-Böhm and Cornelis Witthoefft at the Musikhochschule Stuttgart and with Yves Sotin at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse in Paris.
He attended master classes with Peter Kooij, Margreet Honig, Brigitte Fassbaender, Robert Holl, Dietrich Henschel and Ulrike Hofbauer. He also received important inspiration from Stephan Genz, Anne Le Bozec, Susan Manoff and Jos van Veldhoven.
In 2016 he sang at Philippe Herreweghe’s festival series Accademia Delle Crete Senesi in Asciano. In 2018 he made his debut at several festivals in Portugal and France in the baritone role of Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach’s oratorio “Resurrection and Ascension of Jesus” with Arsys Bourgogne and Ensemble Pulcinella.
