Péter Dobszay

Péter Dobszay was born in Budapest in 1990. Hestudied organ with László Fassang, János Pálúr, IstvánRuppert and Zsolt Hamar, and conducting withAndrás Ligeti, Tamás Gál and Ádam Medveczky atthe Franz Liszt Music Academy in his home town.Dobszay conducts the Szolnok Symphony Orchestraand is the organist at the Great Synagoguein Budapest as well as the Church of the Holy Angelsin Gazdagrét.In 2017, he reached the final round at the internationalMaestro Solti conducting competition,where he received the audience award. As an organist,he gives concerts across the globe and hasbeen awarded numerous prizes at internationalcompetitions.
