Deborah Humble

Born in Wales, Deborah Humblereceived her musical education inAustralia from Elder Conservatory,Adelaide and The Victorian Collegeof the Arts. After moving to Paris,Deborah sang regularly with LesMusiciens du Louvre under the batonof Marc Minkowsky in works suchas Handel's Hercules, Offenbach'sLa Belle Helene and concerts withAnne Sofie von Otter. Many of theseworks were recorded for DeutscheGrammophon. She has also appearedat the Salzburg Easter Festival andthe Festivald'Aix-en-Provence. Inthe UK, Deborah has taken a varietyof roles including the title role inCarmen with the European ChamberOpera.
