Julia Sophie Wagner

Julia Sophie Wagner is renowned as a specialist in the vocal works of Johann Sebastian Bach. She is closely associated with the conductor Helmuth Rilling, with whom she has performed at venues including the Teatro Colon Buenos Aires and the Kennedy Center Washington, and she has sung regularly with the St. Thomas Choir of Leipzig for many years. She works with orchestras such as the Leipzig Gewandhaus Orchestra, the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Munich Chamber Orchestra, the Spanish Radio and Television Symphony Orchestra, RAI National Symphony Orchestra Turin, the Washington National Symphony Orchestra and with leading baroque ensembles. She was a member of the Leipzig Opera for the 2019/20 season.
