Anna Grycan

The Polish mezzo-soprano Anna Grycan completed her bachelor’s degree at the Karol Lipiński Academy of Music in Wroclaw. Since 2018 she has been studying for a master’s degree at the Carl Maria von Weber College of Music in Dresden. She gained her first opera experience in college productions in roles such as L’enfant in L’enfant et les sortilèges, Cherubino, Nutrice in L’incoronazione di Poppea, Orlofsky, Ruggiero in Alcina and at the Warsaw Chamber Opera in a number of operettas by Stanisław Moniuszko. In 2018 Grycan started working with the Song of the Goat Theatre in Wroclaw, performing both in Poland and abroad. She has been a member of the Theater Chemnitz opera studio since the beginning of the 2021/22 season.
