Sebastian Noack

Sebastian Noack has appeared internationally as an opera and concert singer. He studied with Ingrid Figur and Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau in Berlin, as well as postgraduate with Thomas Quasthoff. He has appeared regularly with prestigious ensembles and renowned conductors such as Kirill Petrenko, Helmuth Rilling and Philippe Herreweghe, and is in demand as a lieder recitalist at numerous festivals including the Rheingau Music Festival and the Oregon Bach Festival. His concert repertoire ranges from the Renaissance to the contemporary. Opera engagements have taken him to the Berlin State Opera, the Deutsche Oper Berlin and the Fidelio-Theatro Municipal in Rio de Janeiro. Noack won 1st prize at the Bundeswettbewerb Gesang (the German National Competition) and 2nd prize at the Wigmore Hall International Song Competition.
